This notice explains how ALEVA Technologies Inc. uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies on aleva.tech. Cookies are small files stored by a browser; local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps limited settings or cart information on the device.
Authentication and security services supplied through Firebase may use browser storage required to keep a signed-in session secure. The website also uses aleva_cart_v1 in local storage to keep the cart on the visitor's device. These technologies support services requested by the visitor and are not used for advertising.
aleva_analytics_consent_v1 is a first-party local-storage record containing the visitor's analytics choice, the notice version, and the time the choice was saved. It remains until the visitor changes the choice, clears site data, or uses a browser control that removes it.
Optional analytics is off by default and loads only after the visitor selects “Accept analytics.” The current providers are Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-S8XD73FMNL) and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Google Analytics measures visits and successful website inquiries. Cloudflare Web Analytics supplies aggregate website-performance and visit metrics.
After analytics consent, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga to distinguish visitors and _ga_<container-id> to maintain session state. Google's documented default lifetime for each is up to two years, subject to browser limits and the visitor's settings. Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics service as privacy-first and not collecting or using visitors' personal data.
ALEVA sends only a category such as contact, repair, or buy/quote when a website inquiry is successfully recorded. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text, account identifiers, supplier prices, and payment information are not included in the analytics event.
The current website keeps Google advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization denied. No optional marketing category is enabled by this consent control.
“Reject optional” is available as easily as “Accept analytics.” Rejecting analytics does not block the website, cart, account, registration, messages, purchases, or inquiry forms. You can change or withdraw the choice at any time through Privacy settings. Browser settings may also block or delete cookies and local storage.
Questions about this notice or privacy choices may be sent to office@aleva.tech. ALEVA will update this notice if the deployed technologies or their purposes materially change.
